Character
Rules and Regulations
Powers
and Abilities
The majority
of characters in Nerima have special powers and abilities,
such as flying and using magic. Seeing how Nerima is an anime
realm, all of this is allowed. Almost every power and ability
one can fathom is allowed except the manipulation of reality.
That means tampering with the normal flow of time and space.
A few examples are as follow.
-Opening
rifts between planes
-Destroying the very fabric of reality
-Changing the fabric of reality
-Changing the speed of time
-Time travelling
Simple
right? Though as with any game, sometimes exceptions turn
up within the games that allow characters to defy the normal
rulings.
Blowing up stuff
Well now
you know what powers you can use and what powers you can't.
This rule really shouldn't be necessary because it's common
sense but...in the past we've had alot of people decide to
destroy sections of Earth without anyone around to defend
it.
It's fine
for your character to destroy things if he or she deems it
necessary for whatever reason driven by whatever intent, but
please keep in mind what you're destroying and who it belongs
to.
Example.
DON'T
Kasumi_Kurasangi
throws a hissy fit because Batten
stopped visiting and blows up Osaka.
Kasumi_Kurasangi
. o O (Woops, blew up Osaka, the home
of atleast seven characters I know of that would attempt to
stop mine, but oh well! I won't inform their controllers and
later force the destruction of Osaka on them.)
DO
Batten_Yuukai .
o O ( Why'd you call me here? )
Reisei_Hikari .
o O ( I know, wtg? )
Kasumi_Kurasangi
. o O ( I thought you'd like to be here
and see the destruction of Osaka since your characters live
there and all. )
Kasumi_Kurasangi
throws a hissy fit because Batten stopped visiting and attempts
to blow up Osaka.
Batten_Yuukai X-Triggers
Kasumi.
Reisei_Hikari Grand
Triggers Kasumi.
Kasumi_Kurasangi
dies
Get it?
Basically take into account that you're affecting other's
roleplay and they deserve a fair chance to roleplay their
character's proper reaction.
Plots and Storyline
The main
storyline of Nerima is written on this site, but there's constantly
a dozen others running dealing with your individual characters.
At times we'll all join together and create main plots to
progress the normal Nerima storyline, but most of the time
everyone's doing their own individual thing. That's all fine.
You can roleplay whatever plot you want, but just remember
the single most important rule Nerima has. Don't do anything
to offset the structure of Nerima. Now what do I mean by structure?
I mean anything listed as definite facts on this site. These
things can change, but only through legit reasons.
Death and Resurrection
Character
death rarely happens in Nerima, but it happens. Usually during
the rare occasions it does happen it's because the owner of
the character wanted it to happen. When a character dies in
Nerima one of three things happen; their soul releases and
goes to Celestia for judgement, a freak accident happens and
their soul releases into the Spectral Plane, or something
fucked up happens like the soul is imprisoned. This is what
happens when a character dies in the universe of Gaia, ofcourse
things may differ in other universes.
Death
isn't permanent in Nerima, soul destruction is impossible.
There exists a variety of methods to bring a person back to
life, the most notable being the dragonballs of course.
